Our dedication to research and product development is reflected in
investments in our testing facilities. With this concept in mind, Energy Labs is
pleased to announce that our laboratory is now accredited by AMCA to perform
test in accordance with AMCA Standard 210-99 “Laboratory Methods for Testing
Fans for Rating” and also AMCA Standard 300-96 “Reverberant Room
Method for Sound Testing of Fans". The facility is uniquely designed for fan
testing and air handler testing for acoustical and air performance.
The 40,000 cubic foot reverberant room, with no two parallel surfaces, can
measure with t he highest degree of accuracy air handler inlet and outlet
sound power levels in accordance with AMCA Standard 300-96, and the relevant
parts of ARI Standard 260 (Sound Rating of Ducted Air Moving and Conditioning
Equipment).
The AMCA accredited calibrated nozzle type "Airflow Measuring Station"
can measure air flow up to 65,000 CFM in accordance with AMCA Standard 210-99
for both draw thru and blow thru configurations.
All tests conducted in our facility can be independently witnessed.
